BROMPTON CEMETERY TOURS

Volunteers from the Friends of Brompton Cemetery lead public guided tours of the cemetery on Sunday afternoons, and offer private tours by arrangement during the week. The Friends' noticeboards, near the Old Brompton Road and Fulham Road entrances, display current information about tours, events and other items of interest to Friends and other visitors to the cemetery. The public tours are offered every Sunday from May to August, and on the second and fourth Sunday of every month from September to April. Tours begin at 14:00 from the South Lodge, just inside the Fulham Road entrance, and last about two hours. A donation of at least £5 per person contributes toward the work of the Friends.

IVY Clearing

The Friends of Brompton Cemetery help to clear ivy and undergrowth, to preserve the monuments and maintain the grounds within in the cemetery throughout the year. If you enjoy outdoor activity, good company, and making a positive contribution to the community, please join us. The group usually meets for around two hours on Saturday mornings. We can provide the tools, but by all means bring your own gloves, and dress for outdoor gardening, with stout shoes or boots. If you are interested, please call David on 020 7376 5756 for more information.
