Annual membership of The Friends of Brompton Cemetery
costs just £10. The membership year runs from November 1 to October 31, but new members
are welcome to join at any time. As well as summer lectures
in the Chapel, members receive three A5 newsletters per year, with news about
the cemetery and its management, Friends' events and activities, biographical
sketches of notable personalities, nature notes, reviews, anecdotes, poetry
– anything and everything of interest to Friends of Brompton Cemetery.
Donations are also very welcome to help us with our work!

The Friends of Brompton Cemetery's volunteer guides lead regular public tours of the cemetery on Sunday afternoons, as well as private tours for groups, clubs, schools and families. If you are interested in becoming a guide, please join one of the regular Sunday tours, and identify yourself to the Friends' guide for more information.
The Friends of Brompton Cemetery participate in a Joint Working Group with the Royal Parks Agency (who manage the cemetery) and representatives of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to develop plans for the care and improvement of the cemetery, and to assist with their implementation. The Friends also help to maintain the cemetery and its monuments by clearing ivy and undergrowth. This group usually meets for around two hours on Saturday mornings, but we would appreciate even an hour of your time. Click here for more information, and forthcoming dates.
The Friends offer a range of guidebooks, maps, postcards and other literature for sale from the Friends' Office in the South Lodge, after tours, at lectures and on Open Day. We often have a volunteer in the South Lodge to answer enquiries and sell literature during the week. The Friends' noticeboards, near the Old Brompton Road and Fulham Road entrances, display current information about tours, events and other items of interest to Friends and other visitors to the cemetery.
For grave searches, please contact the Cemetery offices on 020 7352 1201 (+44 20 7352 1201 from outside the UK).
The Friends of Brompton Cemetery are members of the National Federation of Cemetery Friends and the Association of Significant Cemeteries in Europe.
